Fermion Interactions in the Wilson Yukawa Approach for Lattice Chiral Gauge Theories
We consider fermion-gauge couplings in the Wilson-Yukawa approach for lattice chiral gauge theories. At the leading order of a fermionic hopping parameter expansion we find that the fermion-gauge coupling has a chiral and tree-like structure. We argue that this fermion-gauge coupling remains non-zero in the continuum limit taken in the Higgs phase. Possible fermionscalar couplings in this appro...
متن کاملCharged fermion states in the quenched U(1) chiral Wilson-Yukawa model
Property of charged fermion states is investigated in the quenched U(1) chiral Wilson-Yukawa model. Fitting the charged fermion propagator with a single hyperbolic cosine does not yield reliable results. On the other hand the behavior of the propagator including large lattice size dependence is well described by the large Wilson-Yukawa coupling expansion, providing strong evidence that no charg...
متن کاملA Wilson-yukawa Model with a Chiral Spectrum in 2d
We summarize our recent study [1] of the fermion spectrum in a fermion-scalar 2D model with a chiral U (1)L × U (1)R global symmetry. This model is obtained from a two-cutoff formulation of a 2D U (1) chiral gauge theory, in the limit of zero gauge coupling. The massless fermion spectrum found deep in the vortex phase is undoubled and chiral.
متن کاملWilson–Yukawa Chiral Model on Lattice and Non-commutative Geometry
Based upon the mathematical formulas of Lattice gauge theory and non-commutative geometry differential calculus, we developed an approach of generalized gauge theory on a product of the spacetime lattice and the two discrete points(or a Z2 discrete group). We introduce a differentiation for non-nearest-neighbour points and find that this differentiation may lead to the introduction of Wilson te...
متن کاملDynamical fermion mass generation by a strong Yukawa interaction
We consider a model with global Abelian chiral symmetry of two massless fermion fields interacting with a complex massive scalar field. We argue that the Schwinger–Dyson equations for the fermion and boson propagators admit ultraviolet-finite chiral-symmetry-breaking solutions provided the Yukawa couplings are large enough. The fermions acquire masses and the elementary excitations of the compl...
